Since our founding in 2007, our mission has been to make the world a little better – by making it possible for more and more people to eat fresh, healthy, natural, yet time-efficient food. Without flavor enhancers, colorants and preservatives.

OUR STORY

With this philosophy, dean&david was launched by David Baumgartner in Munich in 2007 – a success story “made in Germany”. On a six-month trip around the world after graduation, David drew inspiration from his various favorite places: modern salad bars in New York, fresh juice and smoothie stores in Australia, or gourmet kitchens on the streets of Southeast Asia.

Back in Munich, David redefined fast food: healthy, fresh, tasty and sustainable. Started in a small fresh food factory behind Munich University, dean&david is now known beyond the borders of German-speaking countries.

For a particularly efficient service, you can simply order our catering online. Order by 15:00 the day before to receive your delivery the following day. In the course of the order you will also receive an order confirmation. Payment is made on account.

Large events require professional service. In the course of a consultation, our catering specialists will discuss your individual wishes with you and prepare an offer tailored to your needs – we would be happy to do so directly at the event location!

Ingredients

For us, sustainability begins with the selection of food. That’s why we use high-quality, healthy ingredients that not only make you feel good, but are also sourced in a resource-friendly way.

Delivery & Takeaway

We rely on various measures to comply with sustainability standards in delivery as well. For example, we strive to keep supplier routes as short as possible and are now delivering more and more orders by bicycle. You want to take a sustainable approach together with us? Then pick up your food yourself – preferably on foot or by bike – and also bring your own bag for transport. Together we face the challenges of climate change and do good for our environment!

Packing

For a sustainable packaging of your food we have several options: Reusable packaging, biodegradable plates, tupperware or glass – we try to reduce waste to the best of our ability!
